Early bird offer - £35 per workshop until 12th April 2025
This is the second in a set of 3 experiential workshops facilitated by life coach Lucy Sam in collaboration with medical herbalist Rachel Bescoby. The workshops show you how to utilise connections with the rhythms and cycle of nature to aid the process of helping you to explore and set individual intentions for 2025 and follow them through as the year unfolds.
The workshops align with key moments of change in the natural world around us. They will include talks and discussion around sacred wisdom and medicinal herbs, along with activities, creative exercises and spiritual practices, such as meditation and Shamanic drumming to provide inspiration and facilitate the process of identifying and setting your intentions.
Intentions can be a useful way to clarify our aims and find focus for what is really important to us. By exploring the motivations and mindset behind our actions we can set intentions that align with our values helping us to be more reflective and mindful on the journey towards realising our aims.
The workshops provide a space to reflect on an area or areas of your life where you feel the need for personal growth or change. You do not have to share what these are with the rest of the group as they are personal to you, but there will be space for this should you wish to do so.
Workshop 1 – Saturday 1st February, 2pm - 5pm Imbolc – Wisdom, Plant Medicine & Intention. As the first signs of life are appearing around us in the natural world it is the ideal time for sowing ideas and intentions in our own lives and thinking about what we would like to harvest in the coming year.
Workshop 2 – Saturday 3rd May, 2pm - 5pm Beltane – Creativity, Growth & Action. As the sun strengthens, and energies in the natural world are rising it is a good time to assess the progress of our intentions towards our aims and how we can use creativity to help us on our way. Does anything need change? Is more energy/inspiration needed as we head to the peak of the year at midsummer when we hope to realise our aspirations?
Workshop 3 – Saturday 2nd August, 2pm - 5pm Lughnasadh – First Harvest, Gratitude & Celebration. As we reach the culmination of our journey we can harvest and enjoy the fruits of our successes. We will offer tools and ideas to prepare for a period of reflection in October when things start to break down before the stillness and rest of Winter before the cycle starts again.
The workshops are facilitated by Lucy Sam and Rachel Bescoby.
Rachel is a qualified Western medical herbalist registered with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. She will be taking us through the energies of the year and how they are expressed in the world around us and guiding us towards plant allies that can help and support us at each stage of our journey.
Lucy is a qualified Life Coach, Energy Healer, Reiki Master, Shamanic Drum Healer, Yoga Teacher and Conscious Living Guide. Lucy specialises in supporting women with their wellbeing and spirituality through the practices she offers. Lucy works holistically and intuitively to nurture people's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Lucy holds an MSc Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology so is passionate about grounding spiritual practices with evidence from research. Lucy will facilitate exploratory discussions, shamanic drumming and spiritual practices during the workshops.
The workshops are intended to be followed as a course, so it is recommended that all 3 are attended to gain maximum benefit. However, each one can be attended as a stand-alone workshop. Numbers are limited to 14 places for each workshop.
