Join herbalist Rachel Bescoby on a guided walk around Fen Meadow exploring the fascinating folklore, history, medicinal and other uses of some of the many herbs growing locally. Many of these plants are often overlooked but still have a lot to offer us as plants that can be foraged for food and some that are used in sustainable herbal medicine. A PDF handout will be emailed to ticket holders before the walk.
This walk is aimed at adults but interested children are welcome. Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
We will be meeting at the top of the steps of the entrance to Fen Meadow on Seckford Street opposite Queen’s Head Lane. The walk will start at 11:00am promptly.
